Thank you so much for sharing your story. And thank you for caring about my peers and I. Your message was very powerful and I hope it reached every person in my graduating class. I sure heard it loud and clear. To love and enjoy life, live your dreams and showing your appreciation for life by driving safely and taking care of loved ones. I hope you enjoyed speaking at Poppy and will return in the future.

I have two younger siblings at Poppy [school] and they were not at the assembly. I would love for them to hear your presentation when they are older, but I will absolutely do my very best to pass it along and teach them the importance of being responsible. My younger brother has already been deeply affected by irresponsible driving. His best friend died in a crash just blocks from our house when the driver of the car he was in ran a stop sign. Driving past the accident site is always a painful reminder of how we put our lives on the line everyday on the roads and how a momentary lapse in judgement can change lives forever. But today you gave me hope; hope that I can prevent this from happening to myself, my family, and my brothers and sisters in the graduating class of 2013.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
