Hi Mr.Drew,

I'm a grade 12 student from DW Poppy. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. I wanted to let you know that you are the most inspirational person I have ever met. We've had many public speakers over the years, talking to us about speeding, and drugs and alcohol while driving. You made an impact on our lives more than any of those people have, combined. To me, and many others, you are a hero. You talked many times of how Jay had a heart of gold, it's clear that he must have got it from you. For you to be able to talk about something so painful, just for the hope of changing someone's bad decision into a good one, is amazingly selfless. I truly believe (I guarantee) you saved lives with your presentation, and I know that you will continue to with every new school you visit, and every school you return to. Please come back to Poppy every year to share your story again. Not only did you touch myself, you touched my friends, my grad class, and the rest of the students who were fortunate enough to have you speak to them. Even the people I would have never thought would be effected by the presentation, were floored at how brave you were to tell something so personal to help teenagers you have never met before. I put the sticker in my car on the top left corner of my windshield so I see it everytime I drive my car, I'll never forget the message you sent us. I wish I would have had the opportunity to meet Jay, but I am blessed to have met you. Thank you so much again. xoxo.

Ps. Thank you also for the donation to Dry Grad. Not only were we extremely lucky to hear your presentation, but you went over and beyond by giving the money to dry grad. You really have a heart of gold.
